It is easy to get started towards a Level 1 Certificate, with 3 simple steps:

STEP 2: Send SNA a completed application, payment and Certificates of Completion.

STEP 3: THAT’S IT! SNA will send a letter confirming applicants that you have earned your Level 1 Certificate in School Nutrition and then you can share your success using the certificate program celebration tools at www.schoolnutrition.org/certificatesuccess.

* Do you or someone you know have trouble navigating websites?  As an active member of FSNA you can visit the FSNA Members only webpage to download/print the Nutrition and Sanitation study courses approved by SNA for the Level 1 Certificate Program!  Your Local Certification Chair will grade them and can provide the Certificates of Completion.

SNA's SNS Credentialing Program

The SNS credential is a mark of excellence and achievement that reflects what it takes to manage school nutrition programs in today's challenging climate.  The exam evaluates candidates' knowledge and skills required to perform specific job activities related to managing and directing school nutrition programs. FSNA hosts free SNS Study Groups for active members and strives to host the SNS Exam at the annual meeting each year.

For more information regarding certification or the SNS credentialing program, please contact SNA by calling (800) 877-8822 or by visiting the Education & Professional Development page of the SNA website.
