| Description: |
Supervision of nine staff professionals who conduct administrative reviews for the National School Lunch Program, Summer Food Service Program, and Special Milk Program. Supervisor also participates in and leads many reviews. Travel is approximately 50%. There are other duties as assigned.
As a supervisor, the incumbent must communicate with, motivate, provide or coordinate training, and direct the work of subordinates. In addition, the employee must complete timely performance appraisals, develop timely and accurate work plans, and timely approve monthly attendance and leave for each position. The incumbent has the authority to make hiring recommendations as well as disciplinary recommendations. |
| Qualifications: |
| At minimum, a 4 year college degree from an accredited institution. An RD is preferred with a major in Foods and Nutrition. A minimum of 3 years full time work experience is required. Candidate must be familiar with federal regulations, and have excellent computer and editing skills. |
